Spanish Speaking Attorneys Serving Reno and Northern Nevada

Opening a Reno law office has been a dream of brothers Alex and Orlando De Castroverde. Waldo De Castroverde, their father and the firm’s founder, began his law career in Reno.

Located on Kietzke Lane just west of I-580 (across from Meadowood Mall with convenient parking located on-site), the firm specializes in personal injury and immigration law. The Reno office marks an expansion for this Nevada law firm, with two offices in Las Vegas housing 13 attorneys and a professional staff of over 40 paralegals, case managers and document specialists.

Patriarch Waldo De Castroverde was born and raised in Cuba. He moved to Reno in 1977, working as a blackjack dealer while attending law school at night. Upon graduation, he worked as a deputy attorney general in Carson City, and then in 1991, founded the Law Office of Waldo De Castroverde, one of the first Hispanic law firms in the state.

In 1993, De Castroverde moved to Las Vegas to establish a second office. His sons, Alex and Orlando, helped out in the office and were inspired by their father to become lawyers. Waldo De Castroverde passed away in 2014.

Alex and Orlando spent much of their childhood in Reno, and Alex earned his undergraduate degree from University of Nevada, Reno. Now, with resources to expand, they are excited to come back where it all started and focus on the representation of the Hispanic community in Northern Nevada.

While starting small, the firm is looking to expand its services in Northern Nevada in the near future.

Why Choose De Castroverde Law Group?

De Castroverde clients count on the firm to help them get through difficult challenges, whether they involve a serious or fatal accident, a family visa or status problem or a juvenile arrest. They offer practical advice about the best ways to handle and resolve the problems that need attention while we’re working to advance your legal claims. Because most of the firm’s lawyers are fluent in Spanish, they can also help overcome the language barriers that sometimes interfere with productive attorney-client relationships.

Most clients are quick to notice the family feel they get while working with the firm. Although that might reflect the family origins and relationships of the firm, it also reflects the understanding that legal problems can stress each member of our client’s family, especially in areas like personal injury and immigration.

De Castroverde Law Group offers free case reviews and initial consultations in personal injury cases. Call 775-222-9999 to discuss your legal needs and determine how our attorneys can help. With locations in Reno and Las Vegas, our teams of immigration, criminal defense, and Reno and Las Vegas personal injury lawyers are ready to assist you.
