Michelle Harnik
Michelle Harnik is a personal injury lawyer at De Castroverde Law Group.
A first-generation American, born and raised in the Henderson/Las Vegas area. Michelle attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, with a minor in History in 2015. While at UNLV, Michelle danced competitively as a UNLV Rebel Girl, helping take home the program’s first two National Championship titles in addition to cheering on UNLV’s Basketball and Football teams.
Thereafter, Michelle earned her law degree from the William S. Boyd School of Law in 2019. While at Boyd, Michelle was a member of the Nevada Law Journal for two years, an Articles Editor for one year, and authored a student note selected for publication, entitled University Title IX Compliance: A Work in Progress in the Wake of Reform, 19 Nev. L.J. 647 (2018). Michelle was also a student attorney at the Education Clinic and volunteered her time with the Kids’ Court School, a program geared at educating children about the court process and helping them gain confidence before testifying. In addition, Michelle served as a judicial extern to the Honorable George Foley, Jr. in the U.S. District Court for the State of Nevada, and to the Honorable Tierra Jones in Nevada’s Eighth Judicial District Court.
Michelle First Joined De Castroverde Law Group as a law clerk in 2018 while attending law school. Prior to rejoining the firm as an attorney in 2020, Michelle worked as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Tierra Jones in the Eighth Judicial District Court, where she worked on a variety of civil and criminal matters.
Michelle was admitted to the Nevada Bar and the United States District Court for the District of Nevada in 2019.
