Julissa Pedraza
Julissa is a personal injury attorney at De Castroverde Law Group.
Julissa knew she wanted to become an attorney and advocate for others from an early age. She was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. She is Mexican-American and is fluent in English and Spanish.
Julissa received her bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in Criminal Justice from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2020. Julissa earned her law degree from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2024, where she graduated with Pro Bono Honors.
During law school, Julissa participated in organizations such as La Voz, the Latino Law Student Association, and the Immigrant Rights Coalition. Furthermore, Julissa was a student attorney in the inaugural class of the Poverty Law & Policy Clinic. Julissa also received two CALI awards for the top grade in Immigration Law and Lawyering Process III: Performance Tests on Bar Exams & in Practice.
Julissa joined De Castroverde Law Group as a law clerk in 2023 and has been with the firm ever since.
Outside of work, Julissa enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
