’90-Day Fiancé’ Star Faces Time Behind Bars for Domestic Violence
A now-former Northwest Las Vegas couple, whose brief courtship and subsequent marriage were chronicled on the TLC reality show “90-Day Fiancé,” is embroiled in some very real drama. In January, prosecutors charged Larissa Dos Santos Lima with domestic violence for allegedly punching her estranged husband, Colt Johnson, in the face.
According to the criminal complaint filed against her, Dos Santos Lima “did willfully and unlawfully use force or violence against or upon the person of her spouse” during the January 11 incident at their home which led to her arrest. Johnson filed for divorce later that same day.
According to the police report, Johnson told the responding officers that Dos Santos Lima became violently enraged after she discovered he had purchased pornography. An active presence on social media, Dos Santos Lima posted pictures and videos soon after the incident in which she displayed facial injuries and claimed that Johnson was the aggressor. In turn, Johnson also posted photos showing his own facial lacerations and a swollen and bleeding lip he received from Dos Santos Lima during their argument.
Ultimately, police and prosecutors concluded Dos Santos Lima was the aggressor. She is currently charged with misdemeanor domestic battery. If convicted, she faces the possibility of up to 180 days in county jail and/or a fine of up to $1,000. This was Dos Santos Lima’s second arrest for domestic violence. Police took her into custody in November 2018 for a separate altercation with Johnson, though prosecutors did not pursue charges against her at that time.
