Las Vegas is full of breakfast choices, and it’s hard to choose favorites out of so many great options. We’ve narrowed it down to offer you a list full of variety, whether you want something close to the strip or a hidden gem away from the tourists. We’re showing you places that include fine dining and casual deli to help you stay away from national chains and enjoy some memorable morning meals.
Eat.
Known as “the breakfast and lunch joint,” Eat. is a local gem created by Chef Natalie Young. The staff here use fresh, local ingredients to craft delicious food you can feel good about eating. Eat.’s inclusive and low-key atmosphere is one of the best parts about it; this breakfast spot does its best to be welcoming to all.
The menu is full of comfort foods like pancakes, cinnamon biscuits, chicken fried steak, and a long list of egg dishes. Sides include your favorites like breakfast meats, potatoes, and grits. Visit this restaurant in downtown Vegas at 707 Carson Street; it opens at 8 a.m. Thursday through Monday.
The Bagel Cafe
With two Vegas locations, The Bagel Cafe is a well-known local spot for New York-style bagels and other deli food. Of course, while you’re here, you must try the bagels. The Bagel Cafe offers 21 flavors of bagel and nine varieties of spread. The breakfast options are an extensive blend from healthy to hearty. You’ll find classics like pancakes and omelets along with New York deli favorites like blintzes and potato pancakes.
The Summerlin, located at 301 North Buffalo Drive, opens at 7 a.m. every day of the week. The South Point location, called Del Mar Deli, can be found at 9777 South Las Vegas Boulevard and opens at 8 a.m. Monday through Saturday and at 7 a.m. on Sunday.
The Egg & I
Open at 6 a.m. every day, The Egg & I is the breakfast spot for early birds (and night owls who haven’t yet gone to bed!) The Egg & I opened in 1988, and in 2005 it expanded into multiple Vegas locations called Eggworks. This establishment aims to make dining as relaxed as possible, so at every table, there’s an egg card that you flip to get your server’s attention.
A lot of the menu is, you guessed it, egg dishes, like eggs benedict, omelets, and eggs in any style with breakfast meats. Other options, like pancakes, French toast, and crepes, are also available. The Egg & I, located at 4533 W. Sahara Avenue in Summerlin, has six other Eggworks locations scattered across Las Vegas. Wherever you’re staying, you’re probably nearby one of these restaurants.
Mon Ami Gabi
The Las Vegas location is one of four Mon Ami Gabi restaurants scattered across the U.S. Mon Ami Gabi is a classic French Bistro that you can find in Paris, Las Vegas. Though it’s in a touristy area, this restaurant offers a welcoming Parisian feel and great views from the window tables.
Breakfast starts at 7 a.m., and the menu has something to suit everyone’s tastes. They offer light options like oatmeal and fruit bowls alongside heartier dishes such as eggs and waffles. Coffee, fresh juice, and breakfast cocktails are available as well. Discover this spot inside the Paris Hotel and Casino at 3655 S. Las Vegas Boulevard.
MTO Cafe
MTO Cafe combines comfort food with fresh ingredients in a menu full of classic breakfast dishes, MTO specialties, and sweet options like pancakes and waffles. Lighter options like salads and sandwiches are available, too. Swing by for a coffee and smoothie to-go, or stay for a fresh juice or a cocktail.
Vegas hosts two MTO Cafe locations. The Downtown Vegas spot is located at 500 S. Main Street #150 and opens every day at 8 a.m. You can find the Downtown Summerlin location at 10970 Rosemary Park #100; it opens at 9 a.m. every day.
Bouchon
This list wouldn’t be complete without something fancy. Bouchon, which you’ll find at The Venetian Resort & Casino, has been around since 2004 when Chef Thomas Keller came to Vegas to share his expertise and delicious food. We know The Venetian can be touristy, but you don’t want to miss brunch at Bouchon if you’re having a celebration or looking to splurge. Plus, the restaurant interior is classy and impeccable.
On Bouchon’s brunch menu, you’ll find an assortment of exciting options like steak, chicken, and salmon with eggs, breakfast meats, and salad. Don’t forget to try the French pastries. We recommend making a reservation to ensure you don’t have to wait for a table, as brunch is only available Friday to Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. To get to Bouchon, head to The Venetian at 3355 Las Vegas Boulevard S., then go to the 10th floor of the Venezia Tower.
Mr. Mamas
Diner food is always a breakfast favorite, which is why you should visit Mr. Mamas at 5693 S. Jones Boulevard, Suite 106. This restaurant is a few miles from the strip, allowing you to get out of touristy areas and experience a local favorite.
Open at 7 a.m. every day, Mr. Mamas is frequently crowded but has speedy service, so if there’s a line when you arrive, don’t worry, it’ll move fast. All your favorite diner breakfasts are on this menu like eggs made any way you like, breakfast meats, and a long list of omelets. French toast and pancake stacks with various toppings will satisfy your sweet tooth, and if you want something lighter, try a veggie breakfast wrap.
