Top 7 Holiday Shopping Destinations in Las Vegas
When the holidays come, it’s time to shop ’til you drop, and Las Vegas is a shopping destination like no other. In this city, you can find gifts from all around the world, visit exotic locales, and see free entertainment while you shop. The team at De Castroverde Law put our heads together to come up with a list of favorite shopping destinations in Las Vegas we want to share with our readers. Here’s a look at our top picks:
Fashion Show Mall
The Fashion Show Mall is the grande dame of the Las Vegas Strip and offers the classic indoor mall shopping experience. It’s home to anchor stores that include Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, and Macy’s. It has a total of 250 stores that represent national and regional retailers, and you’ll find goods at all price points to help you check off your list of gifts. Stop by on the weekend to watch their fashion show, and maybe pick something up for yourself.
Make sure to check out the Christmas decorations while you’re at Fashion Show Mall. The mall operators have set up a Winter Wonderland experience room that’s open on the weekends and a Holiday Glow Live musical showcase featuring everyone’s favorite holiday characters.
The Shops at Crystals
It’s true that some of the stores at the Shops at Crystals are found in other locations in Las Vegas, but only the Shops at Crystals has 50 of the best luxury brands under one roof. You’ll find the must-have luxury labels like Chanel, Bottega Veneta, Dior, Christian Louboutin, Hermes, Lanvin, and Valentino just to name a few. When you’ve had enough of looking at beautiful luxury goods, take yourself to the art galleries in the mall to view paintings and sculptures that you might like to adorn your home.
The mall also features cultural exhibits, and the interior is an experience unto itself. There’s a Barbie exhibition that explores how the doll has evolved over the years since her inception in 1959. The Barbie exhibition runs through 2030. The exterior of the mall was designed by award-winning designer Daniel Libeskind, and the interiors were designed by the Rockwell Group. Both exterior and interior are intended to stimulate the mind and give visual texture to the viewer.
Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian – Il Palazzo
The Grand Canal Shoppes located at the Venetian hotel is located along the iconic canal that runs through the property. You’ll find a mix of American and European retailers offering their best wares to curious shoppers. Many of the retailers are Italian or Italian-American in keeping with the theme of the hotel. As you make your way around the shops, you’ll be entertained by performers who are dressed in period costumes to help create a Venetian carnival atmosphere.
After you’ve finished your shopping, take a gondola ride and then head over to one of the plaza’s top-notch restaurants for a meal. You might not need to go anywhere else for presents after spending a day at the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian.
Le Boulevard at Paris Las Vegas
After you visit Italy at the Venetian, head over to Le Boulevard at Paris Las Vegas to visit France. This shopping mall creates an atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re walking the cobblestone streets of Paris and enjoying the City of Lights’ unique culture. Most of the stores in the mall have a French theme and offer goods that you might find on a trip to Paris.
Pick up a cigar from Davidoff Boutique, get yourself some luxury beauty products from Perola, or pick up home goods with a Parisian and Provence aesthetic for your abode. Paris Line and Misura offer European clothing for men and women for those who want to create their own elegant style.
Miracle Mile Shops
Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood is actually 1.2 miles in length, but calling it a little over a Miracle Mile doesn’t quite work. What does work for the mall, is the 170-plus stores and live entertainment theaters that are all under one roof. Looking to pick something up for yourself? Miracle Mile Shops is home to the only Morphe location in Las Vegas and has one of eight Desigual stores in the United States. In the center of the mall, you’ll find Zappos stadium, one of the city’s premier entertainment venues.
Miracle Mile shops feature both local stores and national retailers. It’s the perfect mix to find gifts that suit everyone’s tastes. And speaking of taste, the restaurants at the food court serve up dishes that are more than your standard food court fare and leave you wanting to return for more.
The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace
The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace offers luxury shopping in an environment that makes you feel like you’re a noble in Ancient Rome. It’s home to luxury stores like Baccarat, Balenciaga, Burberry, Creed, Fendi, Gucci, Longchamp, and more. This is the place to shop if you have a label junkie on your Christmas gift list. There are 144 stores full of luxury goods and brand names that are must-haves for the well-dressed individual. Afterward, check out the Appian Way Shops for boutiques that also offer fine goods.
Las Vegas North Premium Outlets
Las Vegas North Premium Outlets is an outdoor mall in downtown Las Vegas that’s home to upscale brands selling their wares at a discount. There are over 175 stores in the mall, and you’ll find retailers including Burberry, True Religion, UGG Australia, Bally, David Yurman, and Pandora. Take a break from your shopping excursion in the food court, and relax while enjoying a snack or a meal from one of the local food vendors or your favorite pretzel chain.
